Samsung Galaxy series have always been a coveted series among the gadget lovers. With the launch of Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and their variants they have won million of hearts. The launch of Galaxy S6 paved way for rumors of Samsung Galaxy S7.
Smartphones and heating almost go hand-in-hand. Ofcourse, we shouldn’t be overlooking the wonderful things your smartphone can do. But at the same time, the idea of holding a heater in your palms is not welcome. Many companies have took initiative to do away with the heating problem. For instance, OnePlus 2 uses the Snapdragon 810 v2.1 to do away with the heat. Samsung took a smart step by using heat pipe technology in Samsung Galaxy S7. This step has already been tested by Microsoft in the Lumia devices.
The heat pipes have made their way to PC/laptop for gaming long ago, but now they are slowing finding way into smartphones. Earlier phones to use this technology was Microsoft in Microsoft 950 XL and Sony in Xperia Z5. The Sony Xperia Z5 temperature was said to rise upto 51 degree C, which implies the experiment hasn’t been much successful with this device.
Samsung is also being careful so that the device width isn’t too much which adjusting the pipes within. Nonetheless, Samsung is looking for very thin pipes for the same. Fujitsu has said that company wants to use 0.6mm pipes for the cooling process. The cooling process is expected to be efficient enough to cool the processor five times more than the previous processors. Let’s see how far they successful in doing so.
Other leaked specs of Samsung Galaxy S7:
The Samsung Galaxy S7 will be launched in two processors- theie homegrown Exynos 8990 processor and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820. Qualcomm has also said that the new Snapdragon 820 will not have heating issues. Let’s see how it performs on field.
Also, there will two variants of the phone in terms of screen type-normal display and curved edge display. It’s supposed to have a 5.7 inch quad-HD display with 2560 x 1440 pixels. Besides, there will also be another variant of 4K display as well.
Samsung is supposed to officially launch the gadget sometime in January the next year, and launch the phone in February.
