Nokia 6 is officially launched in China

This is the best welcome news of 2017 so far. Cellphones was introduced to me in the form of Nokia. Before all the nostalgia kicks in, let’s check out about Nokia 6.

Nokia 6

Nokia 6 is officially launched in china. A year back, HMD Global acquired Nokia from Microsoft. This points to the fact that the phone comes from HMD. Here is what the CEO of HMD Global has to say. “Just a short while ago we announced the launch of HMD Global. From the outset we have stated that we intend to move with speed to establish a position as a player in smartphone category and create products that truly meets consumer needs. The Nokia 6 is a result of listening to out customers who desire a beautifully crafted handset with exceptional durability, entertain and display feature”.

Here is a quick specs of Nokia 6 – hybrid in-cell 5.5 inch screen with FHD resolution, 2.5D Gorilla Glass, Snapdragon 430 processor, octa core chipset with X6 LTE modem, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage, Android 7.0 Nougat, 16 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera.

Like Arto Nummela (CEO of HMD Global) said, this product truly meets the needs of a customer. The world is going crazy to get Android Nougat on their device, Nokia 6 has that! Besides, 64 GB internal storage is just the perfect amount of storage. 4 GB RAM is the perfect RAM for your phone to seamlessly multi task. The camera has phase detection and auto focus to deliver you some really awesome pro pictures on-the-go.

Coming to the availability of Nokia 6, China people can grab it online from JD.com at a price of 1699 CYN. This amount is ~Rs. 16,700. This is a mid-range pricing and is slightly higher than what Indian crowd usually prefers. Anyways it’s Nokia so I’m guessing the sales would be quite amazing.

As gone by what people has to say, this phone is exclusive for the people of China. HMD might be using this phone to access how people are reacting to Nokia 6 and the brand in general. Hopefully there would be some more devices for the world crowd. I can’t wait to grab a Nokia phone running Android. What about you?
